In the most recent installment of what is developing into a headline-grabbing split, Cardi B is literally using social media to do the talking. After Offset filed papers seeking spousal support in their divorce, Cardi B hit repost on a viral comment that makes a point without her having to type a single word.
The reposted comment, which rocketed around social media, claims that Offset is more interested in weaving drama than stacking cash. "I mean, the thing is, I don't even think it's about the money. Offset wants to play with cardi head because he feels that she moved on," the comment read. Cardi endorsed it with a short, sweet, and loud report in the form of silence.
Offset included a request for financial support from Cardi in his amended divorce filing, filed in May 2025, but the specific dollar figure has been left blank on the paperwork. He's also seeking joint custody of their three children, with Cardi's home at the primary residence.
And in kind, the internet did what it does: roast, react, and repeat while some fans seized on what they perceived as hypocrisy. One viral post pulled no punches: "Offset was in Cardi's bag while they were together. Bamboozled by having his girls in HER HOMES!!!!!!! Now, he is requesting spousal support. A cheater requesting spousal support!!!! He has no shame."
Though Cardi kept it brief with only one repost, her message was loud and clear: She's not buying what Offset is selling.
Offset, meanwhile, appears to be fed up with all the noise. "Keep my name out s### please thank you tired of this circus I want out," he wrote online, expressing apparent frustration at the public spectacle. He continued, "I want peace" and "I love my wife, and I don't play that." He also sent love to Cardi's fans: "She's happy. Let her live but doesn't want to see this s### either man's life go."
The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, have three kids together: Kulture, Wave, and a third child they welcomed in the summer of 2024. Cardi, who filed for divorce in August last year, made her decision to leave Offset after a tumultuous seven-year marriage that played out in headlines and hashtags.
Cardi B doesn't have time for drama as the legal battle continues unless it's paired with a beat and a catchy hook. She's letting her reposts do the heavy lifting while Offset attempts to file his case in court.
