50 Cent Trolls Ice Cube's Epic Movie Flop, "How You Get a 0%?!"

In a savage-yet-hilarious display of rap brotherly roast culture, 50 Cent has come out swinging this time at Ice Cube, whose brand-new movie War of the Worlds just crash-landed with a rare, brutal 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Yep, you read that right. Zero. Nada. Not even one critic had a nice thing to say.

Naturally, 50 Cent couldn't help himself. He took to Instagram early Wednesday morning (August 6) like a shark smelling blood in the water, posting screenshots of the scathing reviews with a caption that said what we were all thinking: "How do you get a 0 percent rating? Nah, somebody is mad at Cube. Now I'm scared to watch it LOL."

The film, an Amazon Prime 2025 adaptation of War of the Worlds, stars Ice Cube in a survival-thriller-meets-tech-gimmick fest. But critics aren't just unimpressed, but they're straight-up stunned at how bad it is. Reviews have tormented the movie's wooden acting, clunky dialogue, and visuals that scream "straight-to-DVD in 2006."

Variety didn't hold back, either, calling it a "disastrous retelling" and likening Cube's performance to "a brash, street-smart Mission: Impossible wannabe glued to computer screens and profanity."

The internet? Equally savage. One viewer joked, "Aliens are attacking, and Ice Cube's biggest concern is losing his Facebook photos." Another went all in, calling it "the biggest piece of 💩 ever made but also the best f###### thing I've seen." Confused? Yeah, us too.

And if that wasn't enough, social media has already memed the movie into oblivion. There's now a "Compilation of Ice Cube's Oscar-worthy performance" circulating, and one viral GIF shows Cube reacting to every catastrophe with the same stone-faced intensity, complete with a user caption that reads, "This is how Ice Cube reacts to every single tragedy in War of the Worlds."

Perhaps the film's biggest unintentional comedy highlight? A janky "three-legged combat machine" that viewers swear looks like it was borrowed from a 2003 PS2 game. Seriously, it's got all the charm of a half-loaded download from LimeWire.

While Ice Cube has yet to respond publicly (and who could blame him?), 50's roast has officially opened the floodgates. And let's be honest, when 50 Cent starts clowning you, the internet rarely lets it slide quietly.

One thing's clear: Cube's War of the Worlds may go down as one of the most gloriously flopped sci-fi efforts in recent memory, and thanks to 50 Cent, we'll all be laughing (or crying) about it for a long time.
