LED stumble beautifully through self-doubt and truth in "Your Perfect"

LED's latest song, "Your Perfect," reveals an emotional side that combines openness with the toughness of youth. Set in a reported spring break, the Angeleno trio gives voice to that complex burden of never quite being enough. Instead of painting the feeling in gloss, they let it breathe, unfinished, and achingly relatable. The result is a bittersweet track that sticks around long after the last note has played.

Written with Edie Yvonne and Layne Olivia from past experiences near and dear to our hearts, unrequited crushes, and always changing versions of ourselves to mix and mesh with those new acquaintances for the sake of being "enough" in someone else's eyes. How their vocals and instrumentation unravel is a natural chemistry held down by Lockett Pentz with consistent drumming.

The setting feels both intimate and purposeful, replicating the interplay between self-understanding and societal pressure. The highlight of "Your Perfect" is its honesty. LED doesn't attempt to work through the tension they diligently dissect, instead, they lean into it. Not so much about perfection; more about what voice is found when it is then chased.
