Exit Empire sink your teeth into hypnotic with new single, "Baraba"

The Exit Empire is back, and they're not playing nice. Their new single, "Baraba," from an as-yet-unnamed upcoming sophomore album, snakes into your senses with a dark, magnetizing tug you can't help but respond to. This Czech trio knows how to make an entrance, and with "Baraba," you get the sense they're claiming new sonic real estate and that it's moody, mesmerizing, and dangerously addictive.

Frontman Rafael Eimut leans into an inner vampire, embodying a beguiling fiend that prowls the psyche well after the last note is played. A masterful cocktail of dark pop, deep house, and ambient rock, the track features haunting vocals gliding over a thumping techno beat, all draped in the smoky haze of atmospheric guitars. That was another invitation to enter the shadows of life and let the music take control.

"Baraba"  is a hypnotic groove, but its painstakingly precise production is impeccable. The rawness, the unfiltered energy that simmers under the surface, where intimacy meets intensity, draws you of all conditions and persuasions to this place. Whether you're finding your way through it with headphones or getting swept up in its spell live, "Baraba" comes across as a pulse tickling beneath your skin.

Exit Empire's dreamy guitars and darkly anthemic sound have been years in the making, yielding something classic and lustrous, aged and fresh. "Baraba" is a song you hear that you feel lingers like a secret you're not yet ready to disclose.
