Great Park Avenue strikes gold with a sonic noir for the indie soul "LA LA LA"

Hailing from Stockholm, indie sensations Great Park Avenue return with their superb new single, "LA LA LA," just in time to capitalize on being nominated as GAFFA's Breakthrough Act of the Year, as well as having played at some of Sweden's top venues including Debaser Strand, Stadsgårdsterminalen, Marshall Stage and Grand Malmö, proving they haven't just come up like lightning, they've left the night ablaze with fire.

"LA LA LA" is a plunge into the band's continually shifting artistry, a mix of post-punk pulse, surrealist vibe, and some spacy vocoder (thankful) treatment. The song comes as a statement coming into their ambitious dual EP release, with each entry drawing inspiration from the grunty grit of hard-boiled detective novels, the neon lights of Las Vegas, and the frothy allure of a well-poured Guinness.

"LA LA LA," is an intoxicating combination of sleek production and raw emotion. It's an anthem and an enigma, drawing listeners to a universe where past and future are in dialogue and breeding music's present. With "LA LA LA," Great Park Avenue reaffirms its spot on the Swedish indie grid as restless, innovative, and impossibly cool. With two EPs in the works, this band is quickly sticking around. They're here to leave a mark, then "LA LA LA" is any hint, it's going to be one hell of a ride.
