The Grammy-winning rapper shared on her Instagram feed on Sunday night (March 23) that her $60,000 crocodile-skin Hermès Birkin bag had received an impromptu makeover courtesy of some rogue artistic license.
In an Instagram Story that has since gone viral, Cardi B showed off her trademark mustard-yellow Birkin, some colorful scribbles and doodles all over the expensive handbag.
"I literally bought this purse for $60,000," she said, incredulous. "Check out what my daughter did to my purse."
As she repeated this line, it became more frustrating each time, culminating in Wina's sigh of exasperation. For anyone who loves luxury fashion, the moment was half hilarious and half heartbreaking.
This wasn't just any bag. Cardi debuted this specific Birkin in October 2024 when she happily unveiled a fresh batch of crocodile-skin Hermès pickups. "She had proudly displayed the mustard-yellow Birkin, next to deep crimson and gray variations, in a photo titled "my new three."
