Diddy Hit with Explosive Lawsuit: Former Bad Boy Exec Alleges Sexual Abuse & Extortion

Shock accusations and shocking allegations again are aimed at hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in a stunning new lawsuit that includes abuse, coercion, and more when it comes to what has been a high-profile relationship. Kirk Burrowes, co-founder and former president of Bad Boy Entertainment, is suing Combs, saying he suffered years of harassment, humiliation, and threats at the hands of the rap mogul.

The suit depicts Burrowes’ experience as grim, outlining an “alarming pattern” of predatory behavior that extends over a decade. The accusations extend far beyond financial disputes. Burrowes claims a pattern of sexual abuse, intimidation, and career sabotage.

Burrowes alleges Diddy’s misconduct dates back to 1995 and includes an incident in which the music mogul allegedly ordered him to watch him masturbate. Things took a violent turn later that year, says Burrowes
wherein Diddy allegedly pinned him onto a bed and simulated sex, finishing by climaxing.

In further horrifying allegations, the suit says Diddy allegedly would order Burrowes to perform sexual acts on him, including hand and oral sex as well as objects anally. The reported behavior didn’t end there. Burrowes claims Diddy forced him to watch as he entered sexual acts with others, a tactic meant to reinforce his control through degradation and fright.

Outside of the sexual allegations, Burrowes argues that Diddy muscled him out of the rightful share of Bad Boy Entertainment. The lawsuit describes a chilling encounter in 1996 when Combs allegedly barged into Burrowes’ office carrying a baseball bat. That Burrowes sign above his 25% stake in Bad Boy or face bruising reprisal.

Terrified, Burrowes states that he gave up his stake without a dime in his pocket. To compound the situation, he alleges that Diddy acted purposefully to erase his contributions to the label and prevent him from getting new opportunities in the music industry. As recently as 2022, Burrowes claims that Diddy was warning executives that they should not work with him, thus closing more doors on his career.

The lawsuit isn’t letting Diddy off the hook. On Feb. 26, Burrowes also sued Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs, alleging that she wrongfully assumed control over his 25% interest in Bad Boy Entertainment after her son threatened him. He requests $100,000 in unpaid payments, restoration of his ownership stake, his share of annual profits, and a full forensic audit of Bad Boy’s financial records.

With these incendiary accusations now out in the world, Diddy, who has been confronted with increasing legal troubles in recent years, is under pressure. This is not about money: Burrowes is seeking a jury trial to address the physical, emotional, and financial harm Diddy allegedly caused him, which promises to reverberate throughout the rap industry.

For the moment, everyone’s watching Diddy as the industry awaits his response to another bombshell suit. But will there be justice, or will this become just another episode in the long history of power plays in the music business?
