Elon Musk's Daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson Calls Him a 'Pathetic Man-Child' in Candid Interview

Elon Musk might be one of the most influential people on the planet, but to his transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, it means nothing at all. In an unfiltered and very raw interview for Teen Vogue's newest issue, Wilson, 20, who goes by the name "Rebel," didn't hold back in her assessment of her father, whom she called a "pathetic man-child" while letting it be known that his money and status don't amount to nothing in her world.

Wilson, the child of Musk and his first wife, Justine Musk, has been publicly critical of her father for years. But in this new interview, she doubled down on her disdain, dismissing the notion that she should experience any fear or intimidation based on his advance.

"He's a pathetic man-child," Wilson said bluntly. "Why should I be afraid of him? Ohhh, he has so much power. Nah, nah, nah. I don't care. People live off of fear. I'm not giving anybody that space in my mind. The only thing that gets to roam free in my mind is drag queens."

The Wilson, who in 2022 formally changed her name and publicly distanced herself from Musk, continued by dismissing the idea that there is anything about his billionaire riches that ought to leave her feeling small.

"Why am I supposed to be scared of this man? Because he's rich?" she continued. "Oh, no, I'm trembling. Oh boy, shakin' in my boots here. However much money you have, I don't care. I don't. I really don't. He owns Twitter. Okay. Congratulations."

Since then, Wilson has also aimed at Musk over a recent controversy involving the billionaire, alluding to a moment from an inauguration event for American President Donald Trump back in January. Musk appeared to give a one-armed gesture widely interpreted as a Nazi salute. Wilson made her position crystal clear.

"The Nazi salute it was just crazy," she said. "Honey, we're going to call a fig a fig, and we're going to call a Nazi salute what it was that it was no doubt a nazi salute.

In addition to criticizing her father, Wilson slammed the audience at the gathering, implying they were at fault for allowing the gesture to slide without challenge.

"That crowd ought to be condemned," she added emphatically, clarifying how much she disagreed.

Over the last few years, Wilson has been forging an identity of her own, apart from the tech mogul's sprawling empire. Because she knows people will always think of her in connection with Musk, she's not shy about saying she wants no part of his legacy.

"But other than that, I don't give a f**k about him. I really don't," said Wilson. "It's irritating that people pair me with him. I have no space at all to give a fuck anymore."

As well known as the last name Wilson might be, Wilson has made clear she is not inclined to ride her father's coattails or take advantage of his stature. Instead, she's blazing her trail, speaking her mind unapologetically regardless of how much that ruffles feathers.
