G$ Lil Ronnie's Baby Mama Sparks Controversy Over Daughter's Burial

In a world where grief is as unique as the people who go through it, Shamon Jones is making it known that her way of grieving is not subject to debate. Recently, R'Mani's mother posted on social, sharing how she truly felt about losing her 5-year-old daughter in horrific circumstances along with her father, G$ Lil Ronnie. What ensued was a viral livestream that shocked many viewers.

"Yeah, y'all ain't gonna front, I grieve a little different," Jones said matter-of-factly. "Y'all took my baby, but I'm not muthafuckin' trippin' on that s###…"

With her words both raw and unapologetic, it didn't take long for controversy to explode, with many people desperate to find a way to understand how she could so casually brush off the horrific death of her young daughter. But Jones maintains she's just leaning into her faith and personal beliefs.

"B####, he give em' and he take em'. B####, we all gotta die around this b####. she continued, alluding to what seems to be her faith in God's plan. I ain't f##### up about it. I'm f##### up about how she left around this b####, but I ain't f##### up about it."

As the live stream progressed, Jones shifted her attention to the elaborate send-off she was planning for her daughter, insisting that R'Mani would be buried in style.

"Cause y'all know, y'all wasn't f#####' with my baby around this b####," she said. "And she goin' out this b#### in style. Gucci everything. Yeah… B####, and baby daddy gon' be proud of everything. N####, shout out to Petey… The three stoogies. N####, James Carroll… N####, the tax man."

G$ Lil Ronnie and R'Mani were involved in the double homicide at a Texas car wash on March 3 in Forest Hill, Texas, which was felt by the community. Police have since arrested two suspects in the violent crime. Jakobie Russell, 21, surrendered and was booked into Tarrant County Jail on capital murder charges and joins Adonis Robinson, 24, who was arrested on March 6. If convicted, the two men could face the death penalty under Texas law.

As the investigation continues, Forest Hill Police Chief David Hernandez admitted it's possible G$ Lil Ronnie's music was a factor in the violence."It's all part of the investigation, based on the music industry that he's a part of," Hernandez said. "Everything that's released is under review and has been reviewed and analyzed by the Texas Rangers, so we don't have a specific motive at this time."

As authorities work to unpack and reconstruct the events leading up to the tragedy, Jones' reaction remains a matter of debate. Her unconventional means of grieving, deciding the clothes her daughter would wear instead of the loss, has divided the public. For some, it's a defense mechanism, a process of dealing with unfathomable pain. Others find it chilly and detached.

Long preamble aside, it's clear that Shamon Jones is mourning on her terms, and she doesn't care who gets it. What she did make clear, in an emotional moment, is that her baby girl may be gone, but she's going out in style.
