Game Puts Health First, Reschedules Dublin & Oslo Shows Amid Tour Illness

Those in Dublin and Oslo will have to wait longer to witness the West Coast rap legend in action. The Compton native has now confirmed he's canceled the previously planned shows in the respective cities for health reasons and has vowed to make a comeback even stronger than before to conclude his European shows.

On the 20th anniversary of his classic debut album, 'The Documentary on the Road,' Game has been wrestling with flu-like symptoms and a debilitating vocal strain. But struggling to find his voice, even while he was feeling under the weather, he powered through back-to-back shows in London, Manchester, and Paris, giving high-energy performances.

But after several nights of slogging through, he decided it was time to hit pause and allow his body to recuperate. Reflecting on the cancellation in an emotional video shared with fans, he said, "This video is for my fans in Dublin; I was supposed to be with you today, killing the show tonight. But all this different climate change and the toll that the tour's been taking on my body, it's been draining."

Although disappointing for fans, the new dates have now been secured. The Dublin show at 3Olympia Theatre has been rescheduled for April 9, 2025, while Sentrum Scene in Oslo will welcome the act on March 30, 2025.

Game reassured those in attendance that this is a temporary setback and that he plans to get through every show, no ifs or buts. "I've done 1000% to my fans and this tour, and every individual person that's been to these shows will vouch that the energy in these buildings week after week is insane," he said. In life, we need to care for our health even when our hearts say keep pushing forward.

The Game isn't letting this health scare keep him down long. He is scheduled to resume performing in Stockholm, Sweden, on March 27, when he hopes to recover fully. From there, he will finish up in Europe doing shows for fans who've been with him for two decades.

This tour is especially significant because two decades will have passed since 'The Documentary' came out in January 2005, an album that cemented Game's place in hip-hop history. Despite being home to classic songs like "Hate It or Love It" and "Dreams," the album still represents a pivotal moment in West Coast rap. With a release date of 2025 for The Documentary 3, fans are eager for the tour.

Upcoming Tour Dates:

Mar 27 – Stockholm, Sweden

Mar 29 – Helsinki, Finland

March 30 – Oslo, Norway (new date)

Apr 1 – Tallinn, Estonia

April 2 – Riga, Latvia

April 3 – Vilnius, Lithuania

Apr 4 – Brussels, Belgium

Apr 5 – Tirana, Albania

April 6 – Athens, Greece

April 9 – Dublin, Ireland (rescheduled)

The wait will be slightly longer for fans in Dublin and Oslo, but Game has made clear that he is not leaving Europe until every show is done. Health first, but the grind will never end.
