Hitta J3 Puts Rubi Rose on Blast for Alleged Flip-Flop in Kendrick vs. Drake Feud

The wartime in the rap game has never been one to shy away from some mud being thrown, and the continuing beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake has kept the pot stirring for months. But now, it’s apparent that the feud has entered a new phase, as Kendrick’s blood cousin Hitta J3 has joined the fight, and this time, he’s calling out no other person than Rubi Rose (he sees it for being a “fake” fan).

Hitta J3 took to Twitter on Sunday (March 2) to warn Rose after the model commented on the public’s evolving views on the iconic rap beef. Less than a week earlier, on February 28, Rose had tweeted: “Remember when ppl tried to say Kendrick over Drake lol wtf.” As is the case on the internet, though, the comment didn’t go unnoticed and didn’t sit well with Hitta J3.

Not impressed with Rose’s take, Hitta J3 accused the former Housewives of Atlanta star of switching sides, noting that Rose had been in attendance at Kendrick’s Juneteenth concert last year, a significant moment in the rivalry between the West Coast wordsmith and the 6 God.

This exchange follows a busy period for both Drake (who just celebrated his latest Billboard 200 No. 1 debut with PARTYNEXTDOOR for $ome $exy $ongs 4U) and Kendrick (who raised eyebrows weeks ago with a Super Bowl LIX halftime performance of “Not Like Us,” a seething diss track). Given Hitta J3’s history of going after Drake, though, you don’t come as much of a shock. The Compton rapper has been on an absolute tear in his disses to the Toronto Star, even accusing him in the past of being a “certified lover of minors,” a reference to Kendrick’s now notorious diction in a diss. Hitta J3 even accused Drake of getting scammed out of $150,000 during the battle back in May 2024, and in November of that same year, went on another Twitter rant about an alleged run-in with an OVO affiliate of Drizzy’s.

As for Rose, fans were quick to dig up receipts, but several users mentioned that Rose had shown love for Kendrick in the past. Clips emerged of her vibing out to “Luther,” the GNX chart-topper that features SZA, and an older sit-down where she credited Baby Keem for believing in her and introducing her to Kendrick’s music.

Hitta J3’s call-out has yet to receive a response from Rose, but in the ongoing, ever-changing wrestling match between Kendrick and Drake, it’s safe to say the collateral damage is beginning to stack up. And if history has taught us anything about rap feuds, this probably won’t be the final shot fired.
