Snoop Dogg's Daughter Welcomes Baby Girl Three Months Early

Cori Broadus, the beloved daughter of hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, has officially entered motherhood and ahead of schedule. Three months early, 24-year-old and her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, welcomed their baby girl with an emotional message about the whirlwind-covered journey that got her here.

Broadus shared the news for the first time on Feb. 1, posting a sweet black-and-white photo of their daughter's tiny foot on Instagram. "The princess came at 6 months," she wrote, opening up to the world about the adversity and victory of her premature birth story.

Her words weighed with every mother's Ayelet-up worries and dreams. "I've wept and wept, I've compared and compared, chastised myself because I couldn't give her everything she needed. But no matter what, God always reminds me that He got me!" she shared. Born a premature 25 weeks, the baby already shows she is a fighter, and Broadus couldn't be more thankful. "Baby girl arrived at 25 weeks today, and she's the best!! "Thank You, God, for bringing me this far."

Broadus, who has been transparent about her struggles with health in the past, explained that her premature labor was not only unexpected but also a medical emergency. What she dismissed at first as a "bad case of gas" turned out to be HELLP syndrome, a rare and life-threatening complication of pregnancy.

Untreated, HELLP - short for Hemolysis, Elevated Liver Enzymes, and Low Platelet Levels - can have devastating postpartum consequences, even leading to maternal and infant mortality. The gravity of her diagnosis was not lost on Broadus, who wrote, "Doctors told me thank you for coming, and if I would've waited a few more days, it would've been awful."

Her first C-section went off without a hitch despite the fear and uncertainty, and she gave a heartfelt shout-out to the "man up above" for keeping both her and her little one safe. In a powerful post for other mothers-to-be, Broadus urged women to listen to their bodies no matter how small or strange the symptoms might seem.

She speaks from experience, and Just last year, at only age 24, she had a life-threatening stroke that terrified her family, bringing them that much closer together. "A stroke is no joke," she said then. "It solidified the idea that anything can happen in the blink of an eye." Her father, Snoop Dogg, also reminisced about that harrowing era, admitting, "It's difficult to look back on that day. Anyone who knows me knows my daughter is my kryptonite.'

On the path to motherhood, they've encountered some surprise detours, yet Broadus is grateful to enter this new chapter of life and even more thankful to have someone by their side. With the help of her fiancé, family, and fans, she's approaching the journey ahead with a heart full of love for her baby girl.
