Soulja Boy Faces Shocking Abuse Allegations in Emotional Court Testimony

Soulja Boy is at the center of a disturbing legal battle after his former personal assistant, whom legal documents refer to as "Jane Doe," has taken the stand and delivered graphic testimony in a Santa Monica, Calif., civil trial. The claims, which include rape, assault, kidnapping, and violations of labor law, describe a harrowing portrait of Doe's experience working for the rapper from December 2018 to late 2020.

Doe claimed in court that Soulja Boy physically and sexually abused her. Testifying for the state, she said the rapper assaulted and raped her regularly, putting her in a state of fear at all times, according to Courthouse News Service. The emotional testimony included threats against her and her family, with Soulja Boy reportedly saying he knew where her mother lived and could "send shooters" to her home if she ever left or tried to speak up.

Doe also said she was often placed in locked rooms without any food, water, or even a mattress, so that, she said, essentially made her job one of captivity. In another incident that she described as traumatic, Soulja Boy allegedly used a sexually explicit video against her as blackmail.

The most chilling moment of Doe's testimony was testimony about an explicit video that she says she was filmed without her full consent. "He filmed me in a way that I wasn't the greatest of sexual talent," she testified. She went on to recount a moment that, in police reports, she was quoted as saying that he punched her in the lip, and it bled, then forced her to perform oral sex on him while he filmed it. "And then he hit me afterward because I got blood on his penis," she said.

As Doe put it, this video was then utilized against her "to control and intimidate," which made her feel like she "was stuck in a place with no way out."

Soulja Boy's lawyers, led by Rickey Ivie, have denied the allegations, describing the relationship between the rapper and Doe as a tumultuous but consensual romance. Ivie also argued that Soulja Boy never formally employed Doe in an attempt to dispute her claims of workplace abuse and violations of labor laws.

The rapper himself has not disclosed the case publicly, but his representatives have previously denied all the allegations.

Already, Doe has sobbed through emotional and incendiary testimony over two days, March 19 and 20, of a civil trial that began on March 13, 2025. The case has ignited reactions on all sides, with plenty calling for justice and sitting back to see what happens in the courtroom.

The court will ultimately determine whether Doe's allegations are legally supported as the trial remains ongoing. In the meantime, her testimony has placed a dark stain on Soulja Boy's reputation, raising issues of power, control, and abuse in the music industry. As the case unfolds, the world will hope justice prevails in this heartbreaking situation.
