Stefon Diggs Files $1M Lawsuit Against Reality Star Mulan Hernandez Over Alleged Assault & Extortion

NFL star Stefon Diggs is in the thick of a high-stakes legal feud after suing reality TV star Mulan Hernandez, whose real name is Mia Jones, for $1 million following an alleged incident at his Houston apartment. The suit filed in Harris County, Texas, also names Hernandez’s friend, Brianna “Brii” Mack, as a co-defendant, alleging the two women committed assault, extortion, trespassing, and destruction of property.

The drama began on June 7, 2024, according to court documents, when Hernandez, who was then a wide receiver for the Houston Texans, allegedly assaulted Diggs, hitting him in the chest and destroying valuable property, including his $130,000 watch, a PC gaming system and his phone, which Hernandez allegedly threw into a toilet. Diggs also claims that Dickenson would not leave his home, even after he’d asked her to do so.

The situation also escalated, with the lawsuit claiming Hernandez issued direct threats to his NFL career, telling him, “You won’t be playing this year.” Even worse, Diggs says she repeatedly pulled weapons, including a gun, on him in several incidents.

But the accusations don’t end there. Diggs maintains that both Hernandez and Mack tried to blackmail him for millions of dollars, with both threatening to “go public and ruin his career” if he didn’t pay.’ His lawyer, Kent Schaffer, described the allegations against Diggs as baseless and suggested that the allegation was a textbook case of an athlete being extorted for the financial gain of someone with whom he had a fleeting, casual sexual relationship.

Hernandez has used social media to push back against Diggs’ claims, branding the lawsuit “clickbait” and saying that she was the one who suffered. She alleges that Diggs assaulted her, causing a concussion, even claiming that she was prescribed medication “requested” by Diggs’ medical staff.

Medical records indicate that Hernandez sought treatment on June 7, initially saying she had slipped on a wet kitchen floor but later, on June 14, claiming she had been “punched in the back of the head.” She has since produced a medical report dated June 7, 2024, purportedly in evidence of her injuries.

“This is an effort to get ahead of the truth that will eventually come out,” Hernandez wrote. “I WON’T BE INTIMIDATED, AND I WON’T BE SILENCED. It’s extremely traumatic for me to relive this moment, especially within my healing process. I wish domestic violence on no one and whatever is done in the dark will come to light.”

The suit also alleges Hernandez and Mack of inflicting emotional distress on purpose and conspiracy, vexing a volatile situation even more. With both sides digging their heels in as this legal battle continues, the court of public opinion is watching closely.

While Diggs hasn’t made much noise outside legal filings, Hernandez remains combative on social media, adamant that the truth will come out. However, whether the case goes to trial or is settled remains to be seen, and either way, this scenario is about as messy as it gets. As more details come to light, the football star and the reality personality are bracing for what comes next: reputations and careers at stake.
