When coffee, chocolate, and culture collide, you know it’s going to be a match made in heaven. This year, the City of Miramar’s second annual Coffee, Chocolate & Culture Expo is bringing the heat from both sides, with two powerhouse personalities leading the charge, Terrence J and Angela Yee.
Touted as one of the most revered industries, the diamond industry comes to radicalize the entrepreneur scene with Terrence J (actor, entrepreneur, and media personality) joining award-winning radio host and business mogul Angela Yee as they spill the tea on some must-know entrepreneur tips at the highly anticipated event. The duo will headline a fireside chat on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., kicking off the expo in style with a thought-provoking and inspiring at the Miramar Cultural Center.
Although the name implies coffee and chocolate tastings, which will be plentiful, this three-day event is about much more. Hosted by the city of Miramar’s Economic Development and Housing Department, the expo, which takes place from March 28-30, is a vibrant mixture of business workshops, cultural exhibitions, and networking opportunities crafted to empower entrepreneurs, creatives, and industry influencers.
Participants can enjoy panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and industry networking portions addressing what matters most, including Sustainable building technology for business growth, Tourism and cultural heritage preservation, the global impact of international trade on local businesses So is its impressive array of speakers from celebrity coffee cup designer Alicia Boateng, Chef Vicky Colas, Pro Kitchen Hub to Select Florida, and EXIM Bank.
The expo starts Friday, March 28, at 8 a.m. with the Morning Brew Chat, a networking breakfast that kicks off a full-day workshop, panel discussion, and exclusive fireside chats with industry leaders. The day concludes with a cocktail reception, an evening concert, and many opportunities to mix, mingle, and make valuable connections.
On Saturday and Sunday, the event is cultural, with an art, music, and entertainment celebration. Attendees can browse a colorful open market showcasing local talent, listen to live music, catch a poetry reading, take in traditional dance, enjoy storytelling, and even go to a car show and fashion runway for some weekend glamour.
Anita Fain Taylor, Director of Miramar’s Economic Development and Housing Department, noted the importance of the expo in promoting education, networking, and cultural appreciation.
