T.I. Embarrasses Son King Harris With NSFW Comments, Internet Reacts

With hip-hop legend T.I., his fans already know he’s not shy. Yet his most recent viral moment was unrelated to music and purely about an unexpected father-son exchange that left the internet in stitches and King Harris utterly mortified.

King Harris was live streaming online Wednesday night (March 26) and casually chatting with fans when his famous papa phoned in. What began as a regular check-in took an eyebrow-raising turn when T.I. began sharing very intimate things about his relationship with King’s mother, Tameka “Tiny” Harris.

“I done spoke to you long enough. I got your mama right here,” T.I. said before detailing in vulgar terms what he planned to do next.

King immediately flinched back, clearly affected by the surprise overshare. “Hey bro, stop playing! Why are you always playing?” he said, looking genuinely flustered. At the same time, T.I. burst out laughing on the other line, seemingly amused with his son’s reaction.

Suddenly realizing how viral the moment was almost certainly going to be, King shook his head and groaned, “Bro, that’s gonna go viral.” Without thinking, he hung up the phone immediately, closing the door on further words from his father. “I’m off of here,” he said, formally ending his night.

People posted clips of the moment within hours on social media, and fans had much to say. Some thought the situation was comical and commended T.I. for leaving the father-son relationship light-hearted. Others expressed secondhand embarrassment for King, empathizing with his disgust at learning too much about his parents.

“You can literally see the moment King regretted picking up that phone call,” one fan quipped on X (formerly Twitter). Another wrote, “T.I. is WILD for that. If my dad ever told me that, I’d be blocking his number for a week.”

And longtime fans of the Harris family know that unfiltered moments like this aren’t exactly a new development. T.I. and Tiny have documented their lives on-screen and off for almost two decades. Since their VH1 reality show T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle debuted in 2011, fans have gotten an inside look at their lively household, which is equally funny, tender, and unedited. That follow-up series, T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle, kept that theme going, showing that no topic is off the discussion table in their household.

The King children have also become comfortable in the spotlight in their ways. King, especially, has been making moves in music like his dad. But this newest viral moment has little to do with his rap career and everything to do with good, old-fashioned parent embarrassment.

King may never live down this moment, but T.I. is having fun at his son’s expense. Whether hilarity or abject cringe, Nobody in the Harris household is afraid to be accurate, even if things get awkward.
