Blueface's mom just dropped the bomb with her latest online backhanded slam, which was all about a tattoo gone very wrong. Last week, a woman widely believed to be Blueface's "side chick" thought she was making a bold gesture of love when she had his name tattooed on her lower back. Unfortunately, the ink didn't scream only loyalty; it also screamed spell-check failure. The woman permanently inked "Jonathan" on herself instead of "Johnathan," omitting that extra "h" in a tribute to the rapper, whose real name is Johnathan Jamall Porter.
Blueface's mother, Karissa Saffold, is never one to hold back and learned of the tattoo fiasco, and took to her Instagram Stories like any mom with a bone to pick and a fanbase to entertain. She posted a screenshot of a DM interaction with one confused fan on the spelling front. Her caption? Peak shade, with a side of sass:
"Y'all can @ me before you tatt the wrong name. That's not the name period for my motherfucking son, girl. @bluefasebabyy like slow y'all.
Not only did she drag out the side chick, but she also challenged the whole crew's common sense. In this case, the rapper has a bit of a history with women wearing their hearts and his name on their sleeves or cheeks. Christian Rock, his third baby mama and queen of the bold move herself, has his portrait tattooed smack on her face. She's even suggested getting the same tattoo on her other cheek if Blueface wants to play ball. "Be serious about it and do it right," she said.
With this new tattoo drama, Karissa Saffold appears to be drawing a line in the sand or at least in ink. She's publicly criticized her son's romantic partners before. Still, this time, she's going harder, raising an eyebrow at the tattoo shop on legs that appear to follow Blueface wherever he walks.
When it's being permanently inked on your body, spelling is essential. And when you're involved with a rapper with a mom who always has her eyes on the prize and social media, perhaps the best idea is to verify that birth certificate before even thinking of hopping into the tattoo parlor.
