The Baton Rouge rapper Boosie Badazz knew precisely what he had to do floss at the barbershop and didn't think twice, not for a split second. No, it wasn't a last-minute studio date or gigging incident. It was the call: His baby girl was coming. And as with any proud papa with money to blow.
"I just got the call," Boosie beamed on Instagram, like a dude about to be introduced to the newest love of his world. "Baby finna come either today or tomorrow. I got to get a haircut right quick. I gotta be out here looking decent when my baby girl see me!"

That's because this isn't just your average baby-holding moment for Boosie, rubbing her tiny little fingers or trying to capture that first cry; it's about showing up clean. The lineup is perfect, the beard is trimmed, and confidence is through the roof.
Da Godfather of Nine brings daughter Sevyn into the world with his fiancée, Rajel Nelson. And if Boosie's social media presence is any indication, he's been counting down the days with enthusiasm that's partly sincere, partly hilarious.
"I'm juiced like a m###########, bro," he said, eyes wide, grinning, all of it, all of it sucked teeth, whatever sucked teeth. Look all that up here. "A father is a daughter's first love. The first man you fall in love with is your daddy."
The girl's dad's energy is in full effect, and Boosie has been living it out loud. Just recently, he and Rajel through Sevyn a baby shower the couple called Showering Sevyn. But this was no ordinary diaper cake and pastel balloon affair. However, Boosie had bigger gifts in store, gifting Nelson a white BMW with a matching mini version for their baby girl.
He can't wait for Sevyn to arrive before preparing for baby number ten. "I'm going right back in there," he added with absolutely no reservations during a recent Instagram Live. I'm finna load her up."
"Yeah, I wanted a boy. I ain't tripping; I'm put another one in her right after that," he said, laughing. "Other people wait six weeks; I don't wait six days. I ain't waiting six days. I'm gone get that boy."
Whether you love him for his raw genuineness or his flexible, larger-than-life energy, Boosie Badazz shows up for his kids, lines up sharp, and is spirit-receptive. Baby Sevyn's got a big heaping of love waiting for her, and one rather dapper dad will greet her once she arrives.
