50 Cent couldn’t spin into prime-time trolling material, and Monday (May 19) was no exception. And with the internet still a flurry over a courtroom bombshell, 50 swooped in as only he knows how, offering his special brand of sarcasm-laced, savage commentary.
During Diddy’s ongoing legal battle, the prosecutors dropped a massive piece of evidence, a binder full of headshots. These were not any headshots, though. Photos of 13 male escorts who were allegedly part of what’s already being forever known as Diddy’s “freak off” sex parties. And like that, the G-Unit honcho was off on his latest social-media field day.
“Where the f### are the women,” 50 wrote on Instagram, seemingly taken aback or simply loving the madness as he shared the faces of the supposed male escorts. The names sound like the roll call of a boy band: Ash, Tommy, Jake, Greg, and Jonathan.
According to testimony in court from Cassie Ventura, Diddy’s former girlfriend and who’s also very much the star of his escalating legal wars, not only did she set up these meetings on Diddy’s behalf, but she also swore under oath that she had sex with all of them. He is said to have paid all of them with Diddy’s money.
50 fixated on one of the escorts, “Ash,” whom he declared was none other than Ash Armand, a former reality TV star with a much darker past. To support his claim, 50 uploaded an image of a news article that accused Armand of being an accomplice in the death of a friend.
“This s### is a movie,” he wrote in astonishment. “One of the sex workers got a body.”
Whether 50’s claim is accurate is up to the courts and the headlines to settle. 50 is making sure no one forgets about this binder drop anytime soon.
The courtroom admissions have already upped the ante in a heated legal situation for Diddy, yet 50’s actions managed to take it all to the public. His posts were more than jokes. They were lightning rods, igniting reactions all over social media as people rushed to connect the dots between the names, faces, and pasts of the people allegedly included in the list.
How that will play out in the investigation as a whole remains unclear, as does whether any more charges might emerge stemming from these allegations. However, in the court of public opinion, 50 Cent remains judge, jury, and entertainer-in-chief. And with this drama playing out like a scandal-stained docuseries, you can bet 50 will be watching and Instagramming.
