Lil Meech Fires Back at 50 Cent's Drug Accusation, But His Comeback Only Fuels the Flames

The most recent beef between BMF cast member Lil Meech and TV executive 50 Cent shows. Months after 50 publicly said he had to ship the young actor off to rehab, Lil Meech finally decided to say something or not really.

TMZ recently cornered Meech and straight-up asked him about 50 Cent's claims he uses drugs. His response was, "Rehab's what everybody in my state needs." I guess someone can take that as a brush-off or a deflection, but it was far from the denial many people wanted to hear. Instead, the cryptic announcement only fueled more questions and side-eyes.

As one might expect, 50 Cent wasted no time responding; he shared the clip with his usual trolling combo and barely veiled concern on his Instagram. "He was in private school, never in the street. MeMe needs to stop using drugs! To much bad stuff out here! HE MUST DIDN'T HEAR THEM SAY CUT," he wrote, tagging his own production company.

The Internet, of course, immediately tagged in for a double team. Comments piled on from fans, mirroring 50's sentiment with unfiltered statements like, "Damn, he look burnt out fr," and "Tbh, them kids in private school be strung out." For some, the video looked like evidence in support of 50's claim. For others, it was more fuel for the fire in what has shaped up to be a long-simmering grudge.

This began in February when 50 Cent claimed Meech was seen high on set while filming the STARZ series Black Mafia Family. 50, actor Russell Hornsby caught that and flagged it after he saw Meech vomit during a weapons test, he tells me. From there, things quickly went south, with allegations that whippets, yes, that's the stuff that was in BB gun cartridges and nitrous oxide tanks were also found in Meech's truck. Yikes.

And to really hammer his point home, 50 included a photo of Meech out cold in a wheelchair, set to the soundtrack of Amy Winehouse's "Rehab." But it was 50 being 50 trolling with a purpose, whether you condone his tactics or not.

The beef between 50 Cent and Big Meech, the real-life BMF figure and Lil Meech's father has percolated since Big Meech chose to affiliate with 50's long-time foe, Rick Ross. That didn't sit well with 50, and the bad blood over that canceled "Welcome Home" concert hasn't cooled.

So, what does Lil Meech's turning up in the flesh amount to? Defiance, denial, or just a joke that has gone bad? When your mentor comes out and publicly questions your sobriety and then reposts your comments with a bit of slaying, the last thing you would want to do is appear as though you could be confirming all these rumors.
