Safaree Samuels Sparks Outrage With Vulgar Cassie Remarks During Diddy Trial

Reality TV personality and rapper Safaree Samuels sparked controversy by making crass and dismissive comments about Cassie Ventura amid one of the most appalling celebrity trials ever.  With the federal trial of music powerhouse Sean "Diddy" Combs now underway, featuring sensational accusations of sex trafficking, racketeering, and coercion, Cassie testified over four harrowing days. Her statement left many in stunned silence, describing a years-long ordeal of control, debasement, and suffering: she was allegedly compelled into sex with male prostitutes while intoxicated by drugs; Sex tapes were employed as leverage against her, and she was subjected to perversions. The source of such cruelty, Cassie testified, was Combs.

Samuels took to X when he didn't say something intelligent in ten years because his so-called hot take left customers scrambling for the block option.

"If I were Cassie's spouse I would not have given a expletive about some of the things she stated since it was all prior me anyhow," he tweeted. A tweet from Samuels sparked a fast and brutal backlash. "It's genuinely repugnant to make a remark like this when you have a kid of your own," said one person. "You haven't made an intelligent comment in ten years," another declared.

The post's timing and insensitivity were especially appalling. Cassie's horrifying trial account isn't something to be joked about but actual, agonizing, and highly personal trauma. Samuels' remarks seemed hollow as a result.

Samuels dished out life-changing advice in a second tweet: "It didn't make me sick imply if I was Cassie I'd take that cash leave to America, and just live a pretty, silent life on an isle were no one will ever notice me!' 10 mill will subsist a lifetime if you are normal!"

Critics blasted Samuels for claiming that putting up with a decade of psychological torment and potentially threatening one's life is translatable to a bag and a remote paradise. Samuels added sounds to the tale. "This diddy trial made me love I'm not a freak.. I'm an angel … Damnn."

Although no stranger to controversy or shock jockeying, Samuels appears to have overstepped the bounds of decency this time. The court of public opinion, where dignity and accountability are discussed, denied his post as ill-timed, self-involved, and entirely out of touch.

As the Diddy trial progresses, additional witnesses, including Cassie's mom and former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard, will be further questioned in the next 72 hours. Samuels, on the other hand, should unplug.
