50 Cent Jokes About Tyler Perry Lawsuit, Warns “Katt Williams Gonna Have a Field Day”

The G-Unit mogul 50 Cent hopped on Instagram on Wednesday (June 18) with a trademark 50-style post that was half encouragement, half humiliation, and 100 percent headline-making. The target this time? None other than his revered peer for years, Tyler Perry, has his hands full in a jaw-dropping $260 million sexual harassment suit brought against him by actor Derek Dixon.

But rather than back away, 50 Cent came out with Perry, showing, yet again, where his loyalties lie. In a post, Fif shared an AI-created photo of him and Perry and captioned it:

“Did that b#### just say what I think he said? Hell Nah, We jacking this Shit gang! No Way.”

But no 50 Cent moment would be complete without some comedic relief. After that supportive post, he was back at it again hours later, and this time, he brought comedian Katt Williams into it. Quoting an AI image of Williams, 50 quipped that Perry’s most significant problem probably isn’t the lawsuit… but how Katt will respond.

“Tyler, that case b#######, u worrying about something that comes when they ready for it u worrying about this ninja here.” he wrote. “He gonna have a field day with this s###. LOL.”

There is no hate here, though. It was a playful jab, not a mean-spirited one. 50 Cent and Tyler Perry have developed a connection through the years, speaking out about each other. 50 has publicly praised Perry as a mentor and creative confidante, especially after traveling to Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta. That visit, 50 wrote, helped inform his vision for G-Unit Studios.

So, why did Katt Williams come up? If you’re up on Katt, you know he doesn’t pull any punches for Hollywood dirt. Whether in interviews or on stage, Katt possesses the gift of spinning lemons into hilarious lemonade, and 50 sees the forest through the trees.

In the meantime, the lawsuit is no joke. In Los Angeles County filings, actor Derek Dixon claims Perry sexually harassed and forced himself upon him while working on The Oval between 2019 and 2021. According to Dixon, Perry dangled the promise of raises and production deals in exchange for sex, where he referred to him as his “pet,” and made unwanted advances during a trip to the Bahamas.

Perry has denied the allegations in the lawsuit, dismissing them as frivolous extortion attempts. As of June 18, no criminal charges had been filed.

Nevertheless, in the court of public opinion, the spectacle has only just begun, and, taking it from 50 Cent, Katt Williams might be prepared to do nothing more than ease us into the storm to follow.
