The 36-year-old former NFL football player Antonio Brown, famous for his off-the-field antics as his undeniable talent, now finds himself in grave legal jeopardy in Miami-Dade County. DailyMail.com can reveal that an arrest warrant has been issued for Brown after a wild situation outside of a celebrity boxing event at the city's Little Haiti on Thursday, May 16.
Brown is accused of assaulting another man, taking a gun from a security guard, and shooting two shots as he chased him down a street. Surveillance and cellphone footage recorded the entire incident, sources say, and several witnesses were able to help pinpoint Brown as the man who'd pulled the trigger.

The victim claims he was even grazed in the neck by a bullet during the mayhem. He later told police that after watching a video of the incident, he had verified that it was Brown who shot at him.
Brown was not detained at the scene despite the severity of the allegations. He was briefly apprehended, questioned, and set free. The ex-athlete shared his side of the story on social media soon after.
"He decided to steal from me," Brown wrote in a statement, "and one of them jumped me and tried to pull away the chain on my neck." "They held me for a while until they heard my side of the story and let me go. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED.
He added he will now bring a case against those he says attacked him. "I am speaking with legal council & lawyers to have individuals that jumped me arrested. I'll keep everyone posted through each step of the process," he continued.
However, the Miami-Dade arrest warrant for Brown has been officially issued. It's accompanied by $10,000 bail with conditions: If Brown is arrested, he will be brought, handcuffed, to the courthouse and confined there under house arrest until trial.
This chapter is just the latest in Brown's lengthy and troubled legal history. From a 2019 rape suit settled in 2021 to a 2020 arrest for assault to a 2021 scandal involving a COVID-19 vaccine record to even a 2024 bankruptcy filing, the former Pro Bowler's life after the NFL has been a whirlwind of headlines and not the good kind.
As the legal dust settles from the latest episode, Antonio Brown's descent from football stardom remains as loud and chaotic as his rise on the field. Only time will tell whether this turns into devastation or just another chapter of this endless story.
