It's been a seven-year-long wait filled with cryptic teases and speculation, but Cardi B has finally lifted the veil on her second album, Am I The Drama? And it's every bit the show that fans were hoping for and more.

Now that there's at least a tentative release date of September 19, 2025, Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B is releasing music and a moment. In a stunning surprise, we learned of two eye-popping covers and a jaw-dropping deluxe collector's box set currently available for pre-order. 

There's a good reason why the original cover is a work of art all by itself. Imagine Cardi B swathed in a sculpted crimson coat with dagger-sharp shoulders, matching stilettos, and a murder of crows slicing through a stormy gray sky. One raven casually rests upon her heel as though it were tailor-made, while another flaps overhead in flawless formation. It's a broody homage to old Hollywood high fashion, a gothic-inflection shout-out to femme power.

If the initial visual wasn't dramatic enough, the alternative cover turns the drama up a few notches. In a tight close-up, we see Cardi's face partially obscured by a crow's wing, her eyes fierce beneath a blood-red hat and cloak of the same color, and It's enigmatic, bold, and identifiably Cardi.

The limited edition box set is a brilliant red with "YES I AM" embossed in gold. The exterior features Cardi reclining in that villain outfit, looking in command, carefree, and unbothered. Inside, fans can access a limited edition album artwork and a vintage-style noir poster that looks like something from a smoky 1940s thriller. On the poster? Cardi, as a lethal femme fatale, with the word "VILLAIN" scribbled across the bottom. And because Cardi B knows what sells, here's a sassy hotline number: "Call for trouble! 1-800-DRAMA.”

The whole rollout surrenders unapologetically to the album's theme of self-awareness and spectacle. Cardi isn't slipping in through the backdoor of the game, but she's fully erupting like a volcano, with a raven on her heel and a crown of fire on her head.
