Police Renew Plea for Help in Teen’s Killing Tied to Rapper on Lil Baby’s Label

In a case that has been kept disturbingly quiet for more than two years, Georgia police are once more asking the public for tips about the 2022 murder of 18-year-old Nasr Midian Kahenti Atun El Bebley-Calvin, a teenager whose life was tragically ended after a night out went wrong.

The teenager was a passenger in a car with ColdHeartedSavage, a rapper signed to Lil Baby’s label, then called 4 Pockets Full (4PF). The cartel had just left Club TRU in LaGrange when, according to the police, another vehicle pulled up next to theirs on Lafayette Parkway and started shooting.

El Bebley-Calvin was hit in the head. His friends drove more than 30 miles to Atlanta’s Grady Memorial Hospital in a hectic and desperate hour attempt to save the young man. The teen later died at the scene, despite the challenges of officers to save his life.

Now, the LaGrange Police Department is looking at the case anew, as the still-unsolved mystery has taken on a new sense of urgency. They hope someone will finally come forward and bring some long-overdue justice to El Bebley-Calvin’s family.

No one has yet been arrested, and the motive remains a mystery. Police have not released any descriptions of the suspects or the vehicle used in the drive-by shooting. But they have not thrown in the towel and do not want the community to do so, either.

ColdHeartedSavage, enjoying a higher profile in the prodigious Atlanta rap scene thanks to a connection with Lil Baby’s label, has not been reported to be injured or publicly charged with the case. Police have reported ties between 4PF and the local Atlanta gang scene, spawning rumors with not much else to go on. The label has now been rebranded as Glass Window Entertainment by Lil Baby, which is trying to remove any association with its old affiliations.

The LaGrange Police are asking those who may have heard even the barest tip or recall something that night to reach out. Whether you were at Club TRU, which is located on Lafayette Parkway, or if you heard something about it after the fact, they want you to talk. Tips may be reported directly to the LaGrange Police Department or anonymously at Crime Stoppers.

For the family and friends of El Bebley-Calvin, the silence has reverberated long enough. Two years was far too long to wait for justice. It is time for somebody to help us bridge the gap. If you know something, say something, and it could be the piece of the puzzle that brings peace after all.
