Ray J has got to be the most open book in the history of open books because in what was one of the hot ass messiest live streams to fry the internet in 2019, Ray J pulled an atomic bomb on Suge Knight by hurling out some shocking allegations, name-calling, and a story about sticks of butter.
The incendiary fusillade was fired off in response to Suge Knight’s explosive interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored, in which the incarcerated former Death Row Records honcho charged that Ray J and Sean “Diddy” Combs had a romantic relationship. When questioned whether this was widely known, Knight doubled down: “Well of course.”

“Me and Puffy are lovers? Really? That’s how low you wanna go, Suge?” he yelled during an angry Twitch stream. “Suge’s disappointing me. Suge’s a complete c###.”
Bitter and over it, Ray J took to the airwaves to make several salacious and shocking claims, one of which is arguably more surprising than his claim that Suge sexually assaulted men in his prime. What had begun as a rebuke became an all-out expose.
“I never wanted to at a public stage give Suge a hard time with a c###,” he confessed. “I’m ride or die for Suge… even in times of darkness I’ve held him down. But this? This is too far.”
Winningham then dropped this bombshell: A viral comment he once made about “a####s being taken” in the entertainment industry (that everyone assumed was a shot at Diddy) was actually about Suge.
“Man, I’m talking about Suge, bro,” Ray J said, clarifying his reference. “Suge is a big-ass r####-taker for dudes, bro. I mean a real taker.”
And that’s when the weirdest part of the stream happened: Enter the so-called “Butter Story.” The singer claims Knight had a twisted fetish that included dozens of sticks of parquet butter and rape.
“We used to drive to the store and n##### get that s###, like a pack of 25 sticks of butter … He used to take five sticks of butter and shove them up n#####’ ass and do five shots of that s###, bro,” Ray J revealed candidly, with no shame.
Suge Knight, who is currently serving a 28-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter, has not yet publicly responded to the bombshell allegations. However, he had recently, during his Piers Morgan interview, threatened to take legal action against Ray J, whom he accused of falsely claiming the rights to Knight’s life story.
Whether the allegations are factual or not remains to be seen, but the friendship between Ray J and Suge Knight is now irreparably fractured. Who once might have had mutual respect, or at least brotherhood, have instead engaged in a showdown that consists of insults, legal threats, and accusations so extreme that they have the internet reeling.
This ongoing beef is but the latest bizarre and unsettling chapter in hip-hop’s grand tradition of behind-the-scenes agitation. And if the Ray J livestream is only the tip of the iceberg, and we have not heard the end of it.
