It began with a viral image of the Buffalo Bills star Stefon Diggs in a stylist’s chair, sporting a braided hairdo more than reminiscent of Wave, the child of Cardi B and Offset. With rumors of Diggs being Cardi’s new boo already swirling, it was only a matter of time before The Game hopped in the mix.
Like a true shit-stirrer, The Game appeared to repost the photograph to his Instagram Stories, poking Offset with a bitter blow: “Me knowing a n#### ain’t gone do shit.”
In a later post, the West Coast rapper The Game responded with a side-by-side of Diggs and Wave, in which he tagged a hairstylist and wrote: “How much for these?? ” Not exactly subtle in the implication: Prostitutes are dragging down the morals and character of our military. Diggs is getting a little too close to where Offset used to sit.
And if that wasn’t enough, The Game went full instigator mode with a third post that seemed to curtsy straight out of a hip-hop soap opera: “Offset do something. Take Angel Reese to Hawaii.”
The Game advised the Migos members to clap back by flying off with the LSU basketball star on a private plane and social media sensation Angel Reese. Because, you know, nothing screams “I see you” quite like tropical selfies with a famous jock.
In the meantime, Offset has been quiet on the radio front. The Migos alum wiped his social media accounts within hours of sharing, then deleted a fiery Internet notice to people “trolling wit my kid.”
“Now when somebody dies for playing with my son, they call me the crash out,” he wrote. “Idc how I look, trolling with my kid that doesn’t end right.”
This silence also arrives after Cardi B’s tearful disclosure. During an X (Twitter) Spaces chat, Cardi bluntly accused Offset of cheating and lying to her while she was pregnant with her third child. She described the emotional toll it took and said the stress resulted in sleepless nights, therapy visits, and even in her baby’s birth weight.
“I tried, and I’m back full force, and I’m back, and I’m back because I actually stayed with that heartache and the tears, and I found love again,” she said, not mentioning Diggs by name. Fans didn’t need to be connected to the dots.
Cardi confessed that the beef got so heated that she was scared she would “end up in jail” over what she was planning to do to Offset. “I had such paranoia, I was just spent emotionally,” she said.
As of press time, there’s been no clap-back from Offset to The Game or any response to Cardi’s heart-wrenching allegations, for that matter. But in a culture where silence can be just as loud as a diss track, fans are watching. The Game isn’t afraid to throw gasoline on an already raging fire. This mess is far from done, whether Offset defends himself.
