Chrisean Rock Sparks Outrage Over Smoke Shop Baby Video

The Baddies party is back at the center of social media conversation after a Snapchat video was posted of Chrisean Rock carrying her 1-year-old in a smoke shop. The clip made a fast and furious lap around Instagram and other platforms, setting off a wave of criticism from viewers who questioned the appropriateness and safety of bringing a toddler into a space associated with tobacco and cannabis products.

To many people, it wasn't just a bad look, but it was a parenting red flag. The commenters didn't hold back, criticizing both Rock and the smoke shop. Others even tagged the business directly, pressing for replies regarding what they viewed as a potential lapse in judgment and protocol.

The store replied with a DM, damage control: "She didn't bring him in the shop. That is, she is stop coming by to shop and baby looks great and well taken care of too me. It's was no smoke. Baby wasn't present the entire time."

But as they say, video is more powerful than words. The clip depicted Rock with her baby in the store, and the internet was sold. Although the store was quick to downplay the incident, for many, the damage was already done.

This isn't the first time Rock has been criticized over her parenting decisions. She was criticized earlier this year for a different viral video that swept the internet of her shopping at Walmart with her son's head awkwardly drooping from a baby carrier. That incident also raised safety concerns, and critics did not hesitate to express doubts about whether she was a suitable mother.

Back then, Rock acknowledged that she was learning and wished to develop as a parent. "I am working on getting better," she said. However, at least for this most recent instance, some fans feel that the lesson still hasn't quite taken hold.

Rock also did the right thing by not directly addressing the drama on her Instagram Story, which means her critics won't get any more ammunition. "I'm not going to live about nothing no more," she wrote, suggesting she wanted to move away from public explanations.

This is all going down while her son's dad, a rapper named Blueface, is locked up. He surrendered in January 2025 and is expected to be released early in 2026. The couple's tumultuous history remains in the public eye, and the added stress of single parenting with a microscope on them is having a significant impact.

Chrisean Rock isn't slipping into the darkness quietly, and this smoke-shop dust-up is only another instance where her fame and her actual life crash, and not in the most positive sense.

For the moment, the internet has spoken, and Rock appears to have no interest in listening. Whether that silence will allow her to concentrate on motherhood or deepen the public schism remains to be seen.
