Recent allegations by hos Shaniqua Tompkins, 50 Cent's babymama and mama of his oldest son, suggest that rap mogul, 50, allegedly made it personal when going to war with Diddy by engaging Diddy's ex-partner, Misa Hylton, "way in deep with the boss" for a bit more than fashion advice.
The faceoff took place on an honest Instagram Live, for which Tompkins had no qualms. According to Vanity Fair, which reported on their beef in 2010, Ross said 50 Cent, whose own stalled deal involving rapper Mase, who was signed to Diddy's Bad Boy record label, relaunched the former's career, the latter believed himself to be bigger than the $2 million Diddy had put in 50 Cent's way. Rather than turn away, he reportedly turned to Misa Hylton, not the fashion stylist we all know her as, but to delve into Diddy's personal life.

"So he said, I'm going to hire his baby mother, Misa, bring her in here to sleep with her to find out information on Puffy," Tompkins claimed. "She stepped in the gate with talk about Puffy, talk about how he was abusive.
Though Misa Hylton has never directly accused Diddy of abuse, she's spoken publicly about her trauma, notably after CNN ran a 2016 video of Diddy attacking Cassie Ventura in action. "Cassie, I'm heartbroken by the fact that you have to relive this trauma, and I'm so sorry the f**l raped you." Hylton later posted his support for Cassie. I understand exactly what she says, and through my sympathetic feeling, it has triggered my trauma."
It's worth noting that Hylton hasn't verified Tompkins' account of the situation. But the implication is heavy but if true, this supposed gambit reveals 50 playing chess while the rest of us bitches played checkers.
This is, of course, a story that does not come without its own darker edges. Tompkins also accused 50 of being abusive in their relationship, claiming, "He hit me while I was pregnant with Marquise, he's a monster." It's not in the press, but he is abusive. Emotionally, physically, he's abusive."
With accusations whizzing and smacking from all sides, who's to tell what's strategy and what's spectacle in this sour knot of power, pain, and ex-relationships. This much, however, we do know: Even if a small percentage of these accusations prove true, the music industry's power plays are far more personal and painful than its fans suspected.
