Then, for a split second, she turns, homebound, back inside, and returns a few beats later this time with baby Nori in her arms. Fast forward almost 11 years, and Kim is looking back at the viral moment this time with a touch of comedy and a whole lot of fashion honesty. In her latest Instagram Story appearance, Kim finally revealed what happened on her infamous coffee run. Her explanation? It's pure Kardashian.
"I wanted to have a few laughs with Ladooo and show off the look to her before everyone else, because her outfit is more than I could ever match, so I needed to up my game," she wrote. "I didn't forget her!!!!"
It's not the first time Kim has attempted to set the record straight. Back in 2014, minutes after the clip emerged online, she tweeted: "Do u guys think a 1year old would be inside the lobby by her self! Oh wait she was waiting to check out lol (sic). She said that she had gone to the car first "just to make sure the car seat was in because the day before, we had a car seat issue."
Regardless of whether you buy the wardrobe story, the car seat story, or both, Kim has remained steadfast in her account and is not here for the mom-shaming.
These days, North West is 12, and it's clear she has inherited her mom's love for style, always stealing the spotlight at events and performing live with her dad.
