Kazu Osumi captures the heart’s quiet echo in soul-stirring new single “Times of Love”

Kazu Osumi, an artist from Irvine known for her precise musical work, recently released a deeply personal, emotionally powerful new single titled "Times of Love."  Kazu has always been good at writing songs that make you feel something and at producing them so they sound good. But this new release marks a significant change toward a sound that will last for a long time. "Times of Love" explores how love changes over time, even as its core remains the same.

The song expresses deep gratitude, remembers the past, and welcomes the present. Kazu was the main creative force behind the music, and Musiversal's session musicians added depth by playing live instruments. Jane Lui (Surrija) adds emotional depth with background vocals and counterpoint melodies that are very well made. Her presence adds to the piece's sound, giving it a subtle softness that makes it more contemplative.

Kazu, inspired by guitar greats Eric Clapton and John Mayer, creates a melodic throughline that is both instantly recognizable and entirely her own. "Times of Love" has a touching dedication in addition to its musical influences. The artist's name is a tribute to a bandmate who died, and Kazu's memory of that person continues to shape her artistic path.

This release marks Kazu's sure entry into a new artistic era, one that is defined not only by skillful writing but also by deep emotional honesty. Kazu uses a warm tone that makes the space feel both cozy and welcoming. "Times of Love" reminds us that even though time moves us forward, the love we have stays with us and grows into something beautiful and lasting.
