Books Of Moods captures memories, romance and reflection on “Dreams”

Books Of Moods arrives on "Dreams" with a striking emotional clarity, a debut album that’s less like a traditional record and more like a drifting cinematic memory. The 11-track, 35-minute project is three years in the making and is an intimate journey of memories, romance, longing, and quiet self-discovery, all wrapped in atmospheric production and delicate songwriting.

The album kicks off with "Space, Pt. 1," which immediately sets the mood for immersion, floating weightlessly into a world where emotion and imagination blend together. From there, "Slow Day" moves into a soft stillness, creating space for reflection before the title track "Dreams" pushes the emotional center of the record deeper with warmth and openness. "Travel" pushes the atmosphere even further, adding a touch of motion and emotional space that fits the album’s dreamlike concept perfectly.

Halfway through the project, Gaia brings in a soothing natural grace, and Space, Pt. 2 recalls the cosmic textures of the opening, guiding the impression of a seamless emotional journey rather than a series of individual songs. "Holidays" is a bittersweet beauty that captures fading summer memories, and "Happiness" offers one of the album’s brightest emotional moments, without ever losing its introspective edge.

"Sunday Mood" creates a sense of stillness, enveloping the listener in a quiet intimacy and subtle emotion. "Until Fashion Romance" adds a pulse of desire and restless energy to the proceedings. The last song, "Amoureux," is the album's most affecting moment, the French-language delivery adding a final touch of tenderness and cinematic depth, as if the dream has at last found its clearest expression.

All tracks on "Dreams" were produced in Hugo Sailer’s Parisian home studio. The album is an impressive and sensitive manifestation of the vision behind Books Of Moods. Each track feels carefully placed, creating an album that bathes in mood, atmosphere, and emotional detail. Rich in textures and deeply human in execution, "Dreams" is a compelling debut that makes the short moment feel timeless.
