Neural Syntax slips into the late-night groove with “No Hold Me”

Neural Syntax’s “No Hold Me” lands in the late-night zone of soulful Amapiano and Afro House, pairing rolling log drums with lyrics in Nigerian Pidgin and a subdued mood. The track’s identity is less about overwhelming the listener than creating a steady, immersive groove – giving it an understated confidence that fits its nocturnal feel.

The crossover works because the rhythmic underpinning remains important. Amapiano’s rolling log drums give it movement, and Afro House influence helps to create a broader club sensibility.
