Eric Silverman transcends time with cosmic Americana vibes in "Lost Connection"

Eric Silverman's new song, "Lost Connection," is a transmission from another time that crackles with the warmth of analog tape and rings with the expanse of the desert sky. Pulled from his new album "Stay In It," the song feels like a lost relic of 1972, yet it breathes so quickly in 2023, bridging past and present in a sound that feels timeless and cosmic.

Silverman transported Jerry Garcia's old desk into the high desert to record the raw, unfiltered magic of instruments set in actual spaces. A  landscape that channels Neil Young's After The Gold Rush and the expansive, dreamy textures of The War on Drugs while carving its path through the Americana wilderness.

"Lost Connection"  Warm acoustic guitars build the base while shimmering keys and atmospheric leads expand like heat waves on the horizon. Silverman's vocals convey an aching nostalgia, a wistful call to somewhere just out of reach but countered with a forward momentum that keeps you engaged. Co-written with Adam Macdougall (Black Crowes, Circles Around the Sun), the song heads into cosmic freakout land, making you want to roll the windows down and stay in it.
