50 Cent doesn't too miss the opportunity to get some cheap shots in beef, especially if it's at Floyd Mayweather. The rap mogul has set his sights on his longtime rival once more, but he's mocking Mayweather for his enthusiastic support of Donald Trump.
The legendary boxer appeared recently on Fox Business Making Money with Charles Payne and praised Trump, calling him "the best president we've ever had." Floyd, who has a pretty good record as a fighter (not to mention a headline-grabbing lifestyle), feels Trump is the man for the job.
"We had Trump in the past, we didn't take him seriously," Mayweather said in the interview. "I think Trump is a great president, in my view, and the best president we've ever had.
He then went on, defending his position as he addressed pushback. "Trump has done an amazing job, and many people around America are upset," he continued. "But whoever gets to the White House will always complain. And I believe Trump is the man for the job."
Enter 50 Cent, who immediately took to Instagram with the smoke. The Get Rich or Die Tryin' rapper re-shared the clip of Mayweather's interview dropping in his signature trolling style. 50 Cents wrote in the caption."LOL, you know when you are in school and a kid eats the crayons, And then you see what happens when they get older. Spell BEST PRESIDENT champ! LOL."
The jab is an apparent reference to their previous exchanges, during which 50 Cent has consistently poked fun at Mayweather over his purported issues with literacy. This latest round of trolling might also have deeper roots. Mayweather has recently been spotted breaking bread with some of 50 Cent's rivals (Big Meech and Rick Ross). The G-Unit head honcho hasn't been shy about expressing contempt for anyone who associates themselves with the BMF co-founder, as their beef remains hot over the flames.
50 Cent has been on the campaign trail against people in Big Meech's orbit, even going after Detroit rapper 42 Dugg for giving Meech $100,000 as he exited prison. "Your daddy, my [ninja emoji]," 50 captioned another Instagram post. "You made a mistake when you gave Screech $100K. You could have shown that to your [ninja emojis]. You have always been hard-headed.
50 and Mayweather have battled in public over the years, but this recent shot shows that the feud is far from over. It remains to be seen if Mayweather fires back or leaves his accolades to speak for themselves. One thing is for sure: 50 Cent will not be easing up any time soon, and in the court of social media, he seems to have the winning hand in the area of funnies. For his part, Mayweather remains undefeated in the ring, but the internet is a whole other ballgame, and 50 is determined to score as many hits as possible.
