Benzino Calls Out Tony Yayo for a Fight While Accusing DJ Vlad of Stirring the Pot

Benzino is making headlines again, this time taking shots at Tony Yayo and DJ Vlad during an explosive livestream that left fans listening. Though previously denying that he and the G-Unit rapper have any real beef, the former Source magazine co-owner noted that he'd be willing to settle things in the ring for fun.

Though he insists there isn't any bad blood between them, Benzino went into a long reframing about his fractious history with Tony Yayo, recounting several run-ins over the years. As we've reported over the years, both rappers have gotten in jabs at each other on multiple platforms. Yayo has continuously aired his past issues with Benzino numerous times, namely in interviews with DJ Vlad.

Yayo had previously shared a story with VladTV about his confrontation with Benzino at the peak of his beef with Eminem, as well as poking fun at Benzino's financial issues. Benzino, for his part, has responded on various platforms, telling a less-than-flattering story about Yayo's incarceration, including a now-notorious claim that he was sexually humiliated by his peers behind bars.

In his latest tirade, Benzino doubled down and claimed Yayo had cereal and "jail milk" poured over his head while incarcerated. "You know, jail milk's a lot worse than regular milk," he said, smirking.

He also spoke about Yayo's beef with the period music executive Jimmy "Henchman" Rosemond, saying that Yayo did not strike back after Rosemond's crew reportedly shot up his mother's house. "We're talking about Tony Yayo, whose mother's house got shot up after Jimmy's son got smacked up, and that n*a ain't do nothing about that," Benzino taunted.

After he recalled an old run-in with Yayo on Collins Avenue in Miami, where he says Yayo and his boys jumped out of a Suburban but didn't make an actual move on him, Benzino made it clear he's down to settle things physically.

"If there is a beef between me and him, he knows how to reach me," he said. "I'm not hard to find. We couldn't do these [mimics boxing motions] or we couldn't do these mimics shooting a gun."

Despite the tough talk, Benzino insisted that he has nothing against Yayo, calling the challenge more of a test than a fight to settle a score.

In the heat of his tirade, Benzino expressed some thoughts directed at DJ Vlad, accusing him of profiting from clicks on his platform and from feuding among Black men.

"Your pilgrim ass, your Plymouth Rock landing ass keeps trying to instigate beef between Black men, and this is a perfect example," Benzino charged.

Vlad's interview approach, he argued, promotes speculation by repackaging drama and is responsible for keeping tensions afloat with back-and-forth disputes. "Media outlets like Vlad live off of rappers getting on here and incriminating themselves and putting themselves in a position to get in trouble," he warned viewers.

"These devils don't go to jail. "The Vlads don't go to jail," Benzino maintained. "They're profiting greatly from all the stories on their platform. Even if a dude walks into the RICO, the content continues."

Benzino's impassioned tirade comes amid increasing concern that media platforms rooted in hip-hop could be complicit in real-life beef. Although some view his criticisms as justified, others say he's using Vlad as a punching bag for unrelated personal issues. Whether he's squaring off in the ring with Tony Yayo or doubling down on his feud with hip-hop media, Benzino will not back off anytime soon.
