Boosie Badazz Goes Ballistic, Naptown Blacklisted After Daughter's Pay Drama

The Baton Rouge rap icon Boosie Badazz wasted no time putting the obligation on his daughter's defenders. AP Boosie then went on a rant on Instagram Live, calling out Indianapolis promoters for allegedly screwing his daughter, Atlanta rapper Iviona "Poison Ivi" Hatch, during a recent performance in the city.

"They played with my daughter's money," Boosie said during the stream, frustration thick in his voice. And with one statement, Indianapolis or, as Boosie calls it, Nap Town had been officially canceled.

To get a sense of the heat behind Boosie's outburst, you have to know one thing: Boosie doesn't play when it comes to his kids. As much as the man may have had trouble with the & Poison Ivi in the past, at this instant, he made it clear blood is thicker than backends.

Ranting about what he called "bad business" and "broke ass promoters," Boosie alleged the people behind the scenes failed to pay his daughter what she was owed for performing. Poison Ivi has been hustling her way up the hip-hop game and finding her lane, and this seeming money misstep struck a chord with her fiercely loyal dad.

"I'm never coming back to Nap Town. "It's over with for Nap Town," he declared, predicting the demise of an era. Despite being embraced with love and support by the Indianapolis crowd for years, he says this latest betrayal represents a line that can't be uncrossed.

He even cautioned fellow artists to think twice before accepting gigs in the city. "To any other artist who saw this, I'm putting y'all on game," he continued. "You don't need to be out there either, y'all. N##### ain't got your back end."

For Boosie, this isn't a matter of a single paycheck but of principle and about respect. It's about taking care of your own when the going gets patchy. And if the promoters thought they could skimp his daughter without a storm brewing, they were sorely mistaken.

If the quicker redressers want redemption, it's going to cost them. "They gotta pay four times what they took from my daughter if they want me back," he said flatly.

The whole thing feels less like something whipped up for publicity and more like a man standing tall for his family. Whether you love or hate him, Boosie's never one to hold his tongue, and this episode only seals the deal he rides for his own. For now, Indianapolis is off the map in Boosie's universe. With family and fairness, he's not joking around.
