Sayso P Murder Case Takes a Shocking Turn, Prime Suspect Found Dead, Second Suspect Identified

The question of who killed the Sauce Factory rapper Sayso P has taken a surprising and sinister turn. Days after authorities announced an arrest warrant for a primary suspect, he was discovered dead in Houston, Texas, sending the case in a new direction.

The Memphis Police Department posted a significant update about the case. The remains of 21-year-old Jayden Dandridge, who had been identified as the primary suspect in the March 22 shooting death of Sayso P, were found in Houston, according to their report. His death has voided the warrant for his arrest, but the case is far from closed.

Now, a second suspect has been named: 22-year-old Kevin Brown. Brown has been charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree murder, employment of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, and one theft of property. An active arrest warrant is out for his arrest, and investigators are trying to bring him into custody.

Dandridge already faced a long list of charges before he died. He had been charged with first-degree murder, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of firearms-related felonies, and auto theft. Law enforcement had previously put out a $6,000 cash reward for information on his whereabouts, but his sudden death has complicated the case even further.

The news of Dandridge’s death emerged shortly after an interview with Sauce Walka, Sayso P’s mentor and a principal in The Sauce Factory. In the wake of the tragic murder of his protégé, Sauce Walka made it very clear that avenge was not on his mind, even though he had the resources necessary to enact some revenge.

“If I wanted to, I could have 500 different men good men down here from other cities and states, including mine in retaliation to what was done to me and my little brother, to do whatever, by snapping my finger,” he said. “What it did to my soul, really break me down, as much as it hurt, I cannot retaliate, because that’s not righteous.”

Even though the loss hurts, he stressed, he shouldn’t just accept the sad truth. He said that Sayso P had his issues and that those dealings came around and caused the tragedy. Sauce Walka also acknowledged that had things gone another way, he could have ended up in the same position.

“At the end of the day I got to be a man, and be an honorable gangster and respect the fact that I put myself in a place that I wasn’t supposed to be standing and sitting there,” he said. “But as a gangster and as a brother from day one, I’m standing next to my brother no matter what this man has going on or whatever his personal beefs or problems are.”

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities urge anyone with information on Kevin Brown’s whereabouts to contact them. With one suspect dead and another still at large, the case surrounding Sayso P’s murder is an unfolding and profoundly complex story.
