Father's Day is usually an occasion for heartfelt tributes and familial love, but for 50 Cent, it became an all-out social media battle. Rather than handing out ties and barbecue invites, however, the hip-hop mogul 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, spent 15 June trading jabs with his first-born child, Marquise Jackson, and his ex, Daphne Joy, the mother of his youngest child.
Marquise Jackson, with whom his famous father has had a rocky relationship for years, posted a less-than-subtle dig on Instagram. He uploaded a meme depicting a gambling bet on whether 50 Cent would recognize him or his son Sire in a Father's Day post.

"I'm watching my bet and it ain't looking too good," Marquise wrote. "I have to get the over… We all understand this the photo-op day. Day ain't over yet FINISH STRONG…GET ON YOUR JOB."
And 50? He did not take the bait silently. Instead, he doubled, no, tripled down with fiery posts. His first target? Daphne Joy.
He posted a head-scratcher AI-created image of himself holding a drill and spewing a series of insults at Joy, referring to the mother of his child as a "little bitch” repeatedly and vowing he would soon have "full custody" of their son. He also taunted her for her purported role in getting Diddy in hot water, mentioning her rumored testimony about the music honcho's supposed "freak-offs."
But then, in classic 50 Cent fashion, he whirled back around to Marquise and his mother, Shaniqua Tompkins, accusing them of scamming the government with phony PPP loans.
"Bet they gonna blame me when they get picked up for scamming ppp loans," he wrote. "They gone say it was my fault they was broke."
And then, as if that wasn't enough, he added: "You little punk, your momma got you and your sister scamming. Them people came to ask me some questions about it." I told them I don't f### with them; I'm a law-abiding citizen."
However, 50 later, he attempted to calm down a little, changing his ranty caption to a more generic "Happy Father's Day guys, what did you get?" The internet already had the receipts. Screenshots don't lie.
This family drama is far from over. Building on the recent bad blood pulsing between the pair, and with feelings running hot and past grievances gaping, the 50 Cent Father's Day posts were more sniffs than salutations. Call it bitterness, pain, or just good old 50 Cent-style public drama; one constant remains: nobody does a messy Instagram feud quite like him.
