Alleged Door-Kicking Rampage Over Utah Trip Unfolds in Court

Day 19 of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing trial brought bone-chilling allegations from a woman known only as “Jane,” who described a romantic evening gone madness filled with violence, terror, and mayhem. The courtroom fell silent as Jane returned to the stand here, this time describing what she called a brutal fight that started with champagne and candles and ended with slammed doors, flailing fists, and a frantic flight into the night.

Jane said she had attempted to set a warm, intimate mood for Diddy that evening: candles flickered, red lights filled the room, and the couple drank tequila and champagne. But the mood turned dark when she confronted the music mogul about a young woman he reportedly took on a recent family trip to Utah. She testified that she thought the girl was younger than 21 and accused Combs of having wrong motives.

A hot argument turned bad for Jane, as she explained. She confessed to pressing Diddy’s head into a marble surface and angrily throwing candles and glass. But her effort to remove herself to the bedroom backfired.

He kicked the bedroom door down,’’ she told the jury, her voice firm and room-clearing despite the subject matter. She said it didn’t stop there but reportedly pushed through the bathroom and closet doors, chasing after her.

When she tried to escape, Jane said, she was tackled, choked, and pulled back into the house. She escaped again by running six blocks in fear, she said, and returned hours later only to be greeted by another alleged explosion of rage. Diddy, she said, kicked down the guest room door, accused her of trying to obstruct his access to his children, and punched her several times in the head while she was curled up on the floor.

And then the testimony grew more harrowing as she described what happened next: dragged by the hair, slapped in an icy shower, left naked and trembling on the floor. Jane said that Diddy told her to lay down in the water, “put some ice on it,” and then selected lingerie and heels for her to put on before directing porn onto the TV from her phone.

Simply speaking, the picture Jane paints is horrifying, and it’s just the latest in a damning string of accusations against the Bad Boy Records founder. Diddy’s lawyers have forcefully denied all allegations and decried the case as overreach, most recently filing for a second mistrial on the grounds of alleged prosecutorial misconduct.

Yet Jane’s story only added another heavy layer to the federal case: Diddy faces five significant charges, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. Prosecutors claim that the pattern of manipulation and exploitation ran through his business dealings and personal relationships.

The courtroom is the place to watch as the trial enters its second day on Tuesday (June 10). That is evident for the moment: The glitzy hip-hop kingdom has slammed into some of its most sinister shadows.
