Echezona shines with soulful honesty in “Flaws”

Echezona’s latest release, "Flaws," is finally real, raw, and human. Hot and fierce, the emerging artist opens his heart and soul to the audience, putting off any facades to flawlessly join the dimension of approval and common experience. The lyrics gradually enter the point that everyone wears bout they’d wish they could discard, but that doesn’t suggest they aren’t much alike.

"Flaws" opens with somber piano notes, setting the mood for a song about a moment waiting to be had with a long-lost confidant. Echezona’s vocals are soft and forceful, effortlessly navigating the melody with elegance and credibility. At its most explicit, "Flaws" is a revelation that there’s inherent to flaw meetings. It is his healing but not pious: Echezona doesn’t preach but acknowledges.

This far-off relation to the "Flaws" side offers pop power and reiteration. It is a disco of his bigger job, "Ényì,” which implies “companion” in Igbo. Still, we believe it relates to “Every Neighbor Yields Impact,” which infuses "Flaws" further with self-probing, neighborhood-minded intentionality. "Flaws" is the song you don’t wanna blast during a night trip, but you wanna listen to that moment you wanna retreat or to recognize that you’re stuck. Echezona indicates that occasionally, music doesn’t have to cause. With "Flaws," he transcends his puzzles by establishing a community-designed fortunate faith.
