The Detroit rapper Big Sean was the unexpected subject of a body-sculpting conspiracy that gained traction when wellness influencer Blake Sanburg sparked online discussions about whether his rock-solid abs were the result of artificial enhancement. The claim? There could be steroids or abdominal etching at play in that shredded six-pack. The internet, as it tends to do, went insane over it.
"Bro, mine is lol," he replied, right under the viral post, taking the allegations in stride and with a bit of humor. "Sorry to this man," a reference to a recently viral Keke Palmer interview. And a caption that read, "I got love for the fake an community tho, to each its own, but what makes this funnier is this is the way God made me.

Not content to leave well enough alone, Sean took the opportunity to do a bit of self-deprecation: "I just look like a chewed up tootsie roll when I'm outta shape lol. It's the sort of level-headed, accessible energy that fans adore him for.
Though many users were quick to point out how much his torso resembles that of rap titan Drake, who recently found himself embroiled in a plastic surgery rumor feud, Big Sean is keeping the focus on Sean.
"I'm just talking for myself, I dont know about the rest of y'all but that's just how my stomach is naturally," he added. "I cannot believe I have even to say this, but I guess we do as a society. Cooked."
But it isn't the first time the physical appearance of rappers has come under attack. Just a few weeks ago, the internet began its little saga with a photoshopped image that placed Drake next to Benzino for head-scratching comparisons. Benzino was quick to nip that in the bud, writing, "Keep in mind I'll be 60 in 2 weeks so make it make sense you weirdos."
Yet Big Sean is unbothered, on the move, all the while. His most recent album, 'Better Me Than You,' was released in 2024 and features an impressive roster of talent, including Bryson Tiller, Ellie Goulding, Gunna, Thundercat, and even Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Yes, that's The Rock.
He's now on the road for his 'Into the Wild Tour 2025,' which launched on July 8, 2025, at Denver's historic Red Rocks Amphitheater and features Russ and Sabrina Claudio as support acts. Next, the tour will roll through Chicago, where fans can expect the same energy, truth, and authenticity that Sean brings to the stage and his Instagram comment section.
