Loyalty Struggles Push Rapper Yung Joc to Step Away From Marriage With Kendra Robinson

In a series of emotional Instagram posts on Sunday, July 6, 2025, Atlanta rapper and Love & Hip Hop star Yung Joc made one thing clear. He’s out of his marriage to Kendra Robinson, and it’s for real. But nearly a decade and almost four years into their marriage, the fault lines appear to have split beyond repair.

Joc aired his frustration publicly, revealing the emotional toll he had been carrying for a while. “Hate when random strangers just send s### to my wife and she shares it with me,” he began. “Well, as far as play play rhetoric….

The “It’s Goin’ Down” hitmaker, famous for his brashness, along with his humor, took a much darker turn on this occasion. Burned by feeling disregarded and unmoored, he let it be known that he’s had enough.

“I’ve been one of the most consistent ppl you will ever meet and I’m at a point where I’m just done,” Joc admitted to his fans. “P.S. no I do not want a bday celebration for walking away.”

In a culture where many celebrity relationships unfold like reality TV, in this instance, Joc’s vulnerability lands differently. This suggests that there has been a long-standing emotional disconnect, which their increased presence in the spotlight has exacerbated since joining Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

“Maybe I’ll just move to another country,” he wrote, obviously dejected. “@attorneykendra_robinson I done gave you my best and you can’t see the real King!” I pray you find happiness elsewhere.

The couple, who married in 2021 after six years of dating, have faced their fair share of public speculation. Speculation about infidelity and emotional distance between them has swirled about the couple, particularly over the last year. Though there is no official confirmation of legal divorce as of July 2025, both Joc and Kendra have admitted that theirs is anything but a stable relationship.

Joc has also announced that he’s taking a break from social media to process everything. “Never let ppl get you down.. apologize for the down…. then get up … turn around and stand on the down,” he wrote. “I will be canceling my account on SocialMedia and might spend some time pondering your petty criticisms.”

He also signed off with a token of appreciation to Kendra while establishing a line. “I am thankful for @attorneykendra_robinson and the many memories y’all. Social Media IS NOT THE place for certain conversations, but Television ain’t it either, so please know I don’t have time,” he continued.

Though fans may not get the behind-the-scenes tea they’re accustomed to, Yung Joc is not just closing a chapter; he is putting down the pen for a bit. Loyalty runs deep, it seems, and for Joc, it appears the wound recently needed a little air to heal.
