Zeddy Will's Heartbreak Sparks the Birth of a Baddie Era

The rapper, social media maven, and viral content generator Zeddy Will, with his unapologetically endearing persona, already had fans locked in on what would be a rom-com for the ages. His undying crush on the gorgeous, silky-voiced Coco Jones was not a passing internet punchline but was a narrative that we could all keep championing.

Zeddy confided that when his fantasy got unraveled, "[Ice] cold, Coco got me cold," he said, with the dude demeanor he's known for. "That was my crush, bro."

Zeddy had also raved about Coco in past communications, doing so publicly. Speaking to Chuck "Jigsaw" Creekmur earlier, he had waxed poetic: "Coco, I love you. She has the voice, she's beautiful, she stays away from drama. I love Coco for real." He'd even concocted their meet-cute story, seeing himself wrap up an interview on a red carpet to try for a shot to impress her. But as it happens, the red carpet was not rolled out in his favor.

Coco Jones recently announced that she's off the market. A girl can tell her haters, "I'm engaged" after all! The singer broke the news on an episode of Club Shay Shay, making it official and softly crushing Zeddy's dream all in one sparkling announcement.

And with that patented form of Zeddy-vivid energy, he's flipping the script and stepping into a whole new era. "Now I'm fucking taking my talents…I mean, now I'm going to reality drama, bro," he teased, hinting that his next chapter could find him cast alongside a "baddie" from the Zeus Network. It's a new season, who dis?

And for all that romantic curveball, Zeddy's aim remains truer than ever where his music is concerned. And there's no denying that "Set The Tone," released on May 2, 2025, is starting to gain momentum. "It was a lot of reggae and calypso songs then, and it took a little while for everybody to catch on, but it's been getting love for sure," he said

Whether it's bringing red-carpet love stories to life or leaping into a "baddie era," Zeddy proves that even amidst a letdown, there's space for a new beginning, for refocus, and to flourish. The love story, it turns out, is ending, but the epic of Zeddy Will is just beginning.
