Mark Moule captures raw emotion and timely truth on "Only Love"

Australian singer-songwriter Mark Moule has released his four-track EP "Only Love," which has a total runtime of 17 minutes, presenting itself to listeners with the distinct warm texture unique to independent original music. Moule’s creative principle of prioritizing sincerity above all else gives this music a more enduring, resonant power than standard assembly-line-produced works.

The opening track, "Coming Down," first establishes the entire record’s soft, empathetic emotional tone. The lead track, "Only Love," the work’s core emotional vessel, first took shape in Moule’s mind 15 years ago and carries the central emotional thread of the full EP. "Where’s The Money Gone" steps beyond personal narrative, infusing the work with sharp social observational awareness. The closing track "Killer" uses a restrained narrative arrangement, leaving a long, lingering emotional impression on listeners.

This EP was recorded in a friend’s private music studio and was created entirely through collaboration between Moule and his partner McManus. Moule drew heavy creative influence from veteran predecessors Cat Stevens and Phil Collins. The entire work sticks to a creative principle that prioritizes sincerity over meticulous polishing, and it embraces the imperfections that come with independent creation.
