DDG is no stranger to the drama online, but this time around, he's the one getting the social media roasting. The rapper and YouTube star ended up awkward after posting on Netflix's new reality competition show, "Inside," hosted by the Sidemen. What was supposed to be a fun, high-stakes challenge show instead turned into a love triangle that few expected, one that DDG appears to have mismanaged wildly.
The drama began shortly after 'Inside' finished filming after DDG discovered that his previous co-star, British model and influencer Mya Mills had been getting comfortable with another contestant, PK Humble. The news broke during a private party to watch the show, at which Mills and Humble reportedly looked rather cozy with one another.
DDG did not take the news well. Flustered, he picked up the phone and went directly to PK Humble, which quickly devolved into a cringe-worthy back-and-forth.
"Can you not talk to Mya anymore?" DDG bluntly asked. Humble, keeping a low profile, replied, "What are you talking about?"
DDG doubled down. "Why can't you just not be around her? She called me and said y'all were having a little watch party. I'm just asking you. Like, the show is over. Can you just leave her the fuck alone?"
Sensing the tension and possibly reveling in it, Humble did not hold back. "Oh, what, you're jealous? You're jealous?" he teased.
DDG's silence said a lot, but things took a turn for the worse when PK Humble asked for a video call. When DDG responded, Humble revealed he was already hanging out with Mya Mills IRL, sending DDG into further embarrassment.
When things couldn't get worse, PK Humble shared a snippet from their conversation on social media. His caption? A straightforward yet powerful "Looooooool. "Bro saw Mya Mills on my snap; now he's hyperventilating."
Of course, the internet seized upon it. Fans came in with jokes, memes, and tons of side-eye for DDG, who many believed was never entitled to Mya Mills.
The love triangle drama came from Netflix's 'Inside,' a reality competition show inspired by hits like Big Brother and The Traitors. The show paired 10 celebrities who had to weather living together under one roof for seven days, competing in an array of high-stakes challenges for a shot at a million-dollar (£770,000) prize.
Mya Mills is no stranger to the limelight. She's previously dated U.K. drill rapper Digga D and Algerian soccer star Said Benrahma. On the flip side, PK Humble is the new kid on the block, whose short comedy skits, football-related content, and witty humor have made him a social media sensation.
DDG hasn't publicly clapped back at the moment, but given his history of returning to the commentstuhl, it isn't too long before he dives into the matter. Whether he jokes it off or doubles down is anyone's guess; the internet never forgets a missed chance, and DDG gave the internet a chance to have something to talk about for a while.
