N.O.R.E. & DJ EFN Drink Champs Podcast Network Set to Rewrite the Rules of Hip-Hop Media

Hip-hop Boom Bap's favorite drinking brothers are back with a new, booze-fueled mission: to build buzz and conquer the music industry by releasing their sophomore album, 'Pisscan.' The Drink Champs Podcast Network is a platform created by its founders, N.O.R.E and DJ EFN, that includes all of the Drink Champs podcast episodes and podcasts under "The Network" that support those with the gift of gab!

Unveiled on Tuesday (June 10), the new network plants its flag within an ever-changing landscape of hip-hop-oriented media. It's more than a platform but a movement. The goal is to deliver the same raw, unfiltered energy that has made Drink Champs a cultural institution of sorts while also providing a lane for the generation of emerging voices to shine in entertainment and beyond.

"As eager as N.O.R.E. and EFN are to share all that we've learned in trailblazing this space, we're more excited about all we're going to learn from doing this show. "We want to prepare people with the tools for success and to create their lanes!"

For readers who have been with the series for years, it seems like the logical new direction: from pub stool debate to must-war YouTube destination for Hip-Hop heads and industry figures. From Will Smith to Kanye West, Diddy to Snoop Dogg, the guest list resembles a living Hall of Fame, and the conversations are far from skin-deep.

Now, the team is taking that same spirit and pouring it into a bigger glass with the launch of the Drink Champs Network. The network promises "a new home for culture-shifting conversations and original content rooted in hip-hop and beyond." In other words, come ready for candor, sass, and game.

The primary program to launch under the new flag is Roc Solid, which is hosted, no pun, by Memphis Bleek. Created in collaboration with the Black Effect Podcast Network and iHeartMedia, Roc Solid introduces the network's lineup with a banging co-sign from one of Roc-A-Fella's founding soldiers. The first episode debuts Wednesday (June 12) at 8 p.m. EST. To figure out your plans with us, check out what we've built so far and then tune in; if the name's any indication, Bleek's ready to make something lasting.

This move is tactical, to be sure, but it's also personal. N.O.R.E. and EFN have turned Drink Champs into something that is no longer just a podcast. It's emerged as a respected voice in Hip-Hop media, celebrated for being honest and funny and for history lessons disguised as storytelling. Now, they're eager to pass the mic to the younger generation without letting go of themselves.

So whether you're there for the bat-shit crazy stories, the iconic guests, or the gems dropped in between sips, the Drink Champs empire just pulled up another chair at their table.
