Bryce Hall to 50 Cent, “We Beat You in Court And Now Let’s Take It to the Ring”

The Hip-Hop star Bryce Hall turned actor ain’t here for it, and this go around, his target is rap tycoon and businessman 50 Cent. Hall, who appears in the new horror movie Skillhouse, is pulling no punches figuratively or literally after a federal judge shot down 50 Cent’s attempt to block the film from hitting cinemas. With the court fight now behind her, Bryce is hoping for a different type of showdown.

“We beat 50 in court. I’d do inside the ring too,” Hall declared, apparently prepared to trade legal briefs for boxing gloves.

This entire story started earlier this year when 50 Cent, whose birth name is Curtis Jackson, sued GenTV and executive producer Ryan Kavanaugh for $5 million in March. Skillhouse was marketing his likeness, name, and image without proper consent and consequently, without payment, as Jackson sees it. He alleged that he and his son, Sire, actually shot scenes for the film in 2022, thinking that a contract was imminent, but that deal never came.

The lawsuit alleged that the producers had committed trademark infringement, false advertising, and unfair competition. Jackson also claimed that the film was exploiting his brand and competing with his streaming service, “50 Cent Action.”

But the judge wasn’t having it. On July 3, 2o25, the court ruled that there was not a sufficient legal basis to enjoin Skillhouse from releasing. The film is set for release on July 11, 2025, in cinemas nationwide.

“He tried to blackmail them,” Hall added, speaking of 50’s efforts to suppress the release. Not exactly your standard post-trial statement.

And as if that wasn’t enough, Hall took to Instagram with a post that read, “Smoking on that 50 pack.” Subtle? Not even a little.

And though 50 Cent has not yet publicly responded to Yayo’s boxing challenge, fans from both sides are waiting to see if the rapper, who has survived more than lawsuits, will take the bait.
